Not long ago she appeared in episode, named Under the influence (5×11). Taylor Cole (“The Glades”) was Regina Cane, an aging pop star who has a shadow cast on her album launch party when the DJ is murdered. Down here you can see pics from this episode.
Yesterday my friend and I were having lunch at Carpaccio Lolitta (a restaurant in Bal Harbour) when a beautiful, tall, black-haired, and “I don’t care” style woman sits at the table next to ours. We talked about many things till we turn our attention to that woman, I remember we commented on how she was holding up in this worned out boot. After about 5 minutes focusing on the gorgeous beauty, Lolitta suddenly say the following sentence:
My god .. it’s Taylor Cole, she is an actress, and she participates in the videoclip of one of my favorite songs. In the last campaign of my brand, I spent a long time looking for a model that most looked like her.
Frantic, my friend wrote on a piece of napkin and asked the waiter to send it. Taylor Cole looked up and smiled at us. She was so cute, she talked to us for a long time. I quickly gave her the Velvet Flavor card, and asked if she would mind taking a picture for my blog, because I loved her style.
Arresting at first sight, framed in a beauty that seems almost unattainable until a bucketful of sweetness pours out, Taylor Cole is sort of perfection. That quiet charm is part of the appeal of a multi-talented artist whose career almost never was. Cole is causing a stir on CSI MIAMI, of fresh air, this accidental star proves it was all in the cards.
SWEET HOME TEXAS: I grew up with my dad in Arlington, TX, blocks away from Six Flags, Wet ‘n’ Wild, and the Texas Ranger Stadium. What more could a girl ask for?

I LOVE MY…Stylist. One of the coolest perks of this job is getting to go to events and dressing up for them. Left to my own devices I would probably wear a little black dress to everything, but my stylist, Emma Danoff, brings me an amazing selection from new designers. Then we get to hang out and play dress up!

BEAUTY CHEAT SHEET:Faux tan! Get that natural glow with a tan, but to save your skin always use spray tans or self-tanners. If you don’t have time, Laura Gellar makes a great body frosting in the shade Tahitian Glow that you can use wet (for a darker look) or dry and put all over – especially the leg, and it looks amazing.
FAVE RESTAURANT: Casa Vega, Sushi Park, and Pace are just a few.
FAVE GETAWAY: I actually love being in my house! I get so little free time, and I just redid my place, so I am loving being there and getting to hang out with my friends playing pool or chill movie nights.

HYDROGEN MAGAZINE: You started out as a model, travelling to France, Germany, Australia among many other places. What was that like for you and what are your best
memories from that time?
TAYLOR COLE: Traveling the world at such a young age exposed me to a variety of cultures and provided a global perspective you just can’t learn from a text book. The people I met and friends I made along the way were priceless.
HM: A lot of people might not know this, but you are a very accomplished athlete, playing volleyball in high school and travelling the country with the Junior Olympics squad. Tell me about that.
TC: I played on club teams from 7th grade till I tore my ACL in a pre-season game my senior year. Everything happens for a reason though. I turned my energy towards modeling which opened my eyes to acting.
HM: There is an interesting story about how acting came into your life. Weren’t you visiting family when an opportunity presented itself unexpectedly?
TC: Yes. I was visiting my mom in LA during a pilot season. She asked if I wanted to be sent out. Having nothing to lose, I went for it. I booked a show and moved out to LA from New York within the year.
HM: Tell me about working on Summerland and working with your step-father on the show.
TC: Being my first show, it was a blessing having my stepdad next to me through it all. I got to ask him all the stupid questions I didn’t know, like what’s a boom, mark, or if I could get fired at a table read. Most people didn’t know we were related at first due to different last names. We had to tell the writers a possible love story in the books was not gonna happen!
The IMDB posted on Taylor’s profile a rumor about the movie The Pendant. Nothing official yet and Taylor didn’t mention anything about the new project, but let’s cheer for this rumor be true.
Synopse: A psychic NSA agent must unravel the hidden messages left to her by a crystal necklace to find the killers of her boyfriend. However, the closer she gets, the more dangerous it becomes.

“I was shooting ‘CSI: Miami’ right in the middle of pilot season, so it kind of left me without options,” Cole tells Zap2it. “This worked out perfectly for me. The cast is so nice, and it’s a fun show to work on. I love that it’s very character-driven, so you get to know everybody well.”
In her various roles, Cole often is brought in as someone who becomes quite familiar with other characters. “When I first went on ‘CSI: Miami,’ I started asking, ‘So, you never go home with these people? We never get to see their love lives? Nothing?’And they were like, ‘Nope. This is how it is.’ Then, three episodes later, I was suddenly in a love triangle.”
Indeed, Cole recognizes she’s “always stirring things up,” but she hopes “Glades” followers won’t resent her for that … especially where Sanchez-as-Callie is concerned. “I know that she is very loved, so I hope the fans don’t hate me too much.”

Taylor was born in Texas (a place where she is in love), started her career as a model after an accident playing volleyball (professional). She traveled the whole world doing campaigns for big brands till be invited for an audition to the rv series "Summerland" (now canceled) after passing the test, she moved to Los Angeles where he lives now and has done several works on TV since 2004. Currently, Taylor plays Samantha on CSI MIAMI and this year it'll be launched two movies that she recorded in 2011. Even though she lives in Hollywood, she preserves her customs and learning. In her personal life, she is a charming person always opts for being among family and friends.
